Airborne Studios provides drone cinematography for film, episodic television, commercials, live broadcast, and FPV productions in Savannah and across Coastal Georgia. LOCAL SAVANNAH COVERAGE — A Savannah-based operator supports local scouting, production communication, and fast regional coordination. CREATIVE SERVICES — Crews can support cinema-drone establishing shots, moving-vehicle work, indoor and outdoor FPV, location reveals, live aerial video, and second-unit coverage. CREW & EQUIPMENT — FAA Part 107 pilots, Local 600 and non-union crews, up to $10 million aviation insurance, Inspire 3 with X9, Mavic 4 Pro, Freefly Alta X, and FPV/cinewhoop platforms are available based on the production. AIRSPACE & PERMISSIONS — Planning addresses controlled airspace, nearby airports or heliports, property approval, municipal and production requirements, public control, weather, and shot-specific safety. PRODUCTION INTAKE — Send Savannah or Coastal Georgia locations and coordinates, primary and backup dates, creative references or shot list, camera and payload needs, indoor or outdoor FPV routes, monitoring, permits already in progress, insurance requirements, and local production contacts.
Airborne Studios plans director monitoring and remote video so creative and production teams can see the aerial image reliably during the shot. ON-SET MONITORING — Director, DP, camera, video village, producers, and agency teams can receive a production feed based on the camera system and confirmed deliverables. LATENCY & RF — Prep addresses transmission format, latency targets, range, line of sight, antenna placement, RF congestion, spectrum coordination, and the physical route between aircraft and receivers. REMOTE VIEWING — When a production needs off-site viewing, the workflow can include a production-approved internet path, encoder or conferencing system, access control, and clear expectations for delay and image quality. BROADCAST INTEGRATION — Live projects are planned around the truck or control-room format, connection point, frame rate, resolution, embedded audio needs, intercom, tally, and responsible engineering contacts. REDUNDANCY — Backup receivers, cables, power, batteries, antennas, alternative positions, and fallback recording or monitoring paths are identified during prep. BOOKING — Send the requested output format, destination, monitor count, remote-viewing locations, latency requirements, RF or engineering contacts, venue information, dates, and show schedule. Final signal workflow is confirmed with production before the shoot.
