FPV for JAŸ-Z30: Jay-Z, Eminem & Beyoncé at Yankee Stadium

Three sold-out nights at Yankee Stadium. JAY-Z. Eminem. Beyoncé. A packed stadium in the Bronx and one of the biggest live productions New York has seen.

Airborne Studios was brought in directly by Roc Nation as the approved drone team for the JAY-Z 30 Yankee Stadium run, with Eddie Graham serving as the main FPV pilot.

Flying inside and around Yankee Stadium meant working through a intense approval process with production, stadium operations, NYPD, NYPD Counterterrorism, FAA coordination, and LaGuardia airspace coordination. With a helicopter also operating as part of the show, our team coordinated with aerial coordinator Kevin LaRosa to keep the aerial work safe, organized, and locked in with the rest of the production.

Our FPV work captured fast, dynamic angles through the stadium, close to the performance, and inside the energy of the crowd. Everything had to be timed around artist movement, live production windows, security, au

dience safety, and airspace coordination.
